It is very easy to install a graphics card, all you need is just 15 minutes of your time and you can get your computer game from the new graphics card.
AGP was the standard in the graphics card interface with the motherboard. With advances in technology, the latest PCI-Express took over and graphics card nowadays use PCI-E and its interface with the motherboard.
Before installing graphics card, you must identify the type of connector that uses your graphics card.

Once you're ready to install the graphics card, follow these four steps …
Step 1: Uninstall your current graphics card
Before installing your new card you must uninstall the card driver being. This is because the current driver may not be compatible with the new graphics card and could be place a hardware conflict.
On the Windows desktop, click "Start" -> "Control Panel". In the new window opens, locate the "System" and click the icon twice. Locate the tab 'Hardware'. Click the Device Manager. This opens a new window with the hardware world. Your graphics card should be included in the "Display Adapter" position. Double-click the name of your graphics card. In the next window, go to the tab "Driver" and just below, there is an 'Uninstall' button. Click the Uninstall button. Once you have finished, close all windows and turn off the computer.
Step 2: Remove the graphics card
Now, disconnect the plug from the wall and remove the casing of your computer. Locate the AGP slot (short brown slot above the PCI slot of the long white rows) with your old graphics card. To avoid static damage parts of your computer, touch a metal part of the case to the land. Remove the screw on the backplate of the card and unplug the graphics card slot.
Step 3: Install the new card.
Align the new card correctly with the AGP slot (align PCI-e slot if the card graphics is PCI Express). Even applying forces on both sides of the card, gently push the graphics card in the slot. He put on the back plate with a screw.
Step 4: Install new drivers.
Connect all cables and start your Windows. Your operating system should now automatically recognize the new hardware and walk you through the installation wizard. Most of the time, you should insert the driver CD that came with the adapter into the CD-ROM. Search setup.exe in the drivers CD and click twice. Then guides you through the installation process. If your graphics card is not the latest model, More than likely there is a newer driver on the Internet. Consult the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers. Install it.
